Turkey Hunt
Hunt quietly, you don't want to scare the turkeys...
On a dozen or so index cards, draw or paste a picture of a turkey. To play, everyone leaves the room except the leader. The leader hides
the cards around the room. Hunters return and begin the hunt. As each turkey is found, it is brought back to the leader who corrals them in
a separate pile for each hunter. When all the turkeys have been found, the hunter with the most turkeys is the winner and becomes the
leader for the next round.
Tip: Let your children make the cards before the Holiday.
They'll find lots of magazine pictures and can color some as well!

This was made using:
"twisted paper"
chenile stem
little batting
scrap of lace
narrow ribbon
one tiny silk rose
piece of gold thread (or ribbon) for hanger
glue/glue gun
1. cut strip of paper about 8", open up and fold in half.
2. cut another strip of paper abut 6" open up and fold lengthwise (for arms)
3. place chenile stem inside folded arm paper and fill with batting.
4. glue sides closed allow stem to stick out on ends and then glue the ends to the stem (almost like gathering them (they will be bunchy but that's okay).
5. Tie hanging thread or ribbon around the middle of the arms
5. Take the folded 8" paper and tie raw edge top of it together with strong thread (again looking like it is gathered).
6. Place arms inside near the top of the gathered halved 8" paper pulling the hanging thread through the middle opening.
7. Glue inside the dress body part that will be touching the arms to hold the arms in place
8. place lace around the top of outside of dress looking like a collar and glue in place.
9. Glue tiny silk rose on top front of dress
10. Make a bow out of narrow ribbon and glue below rose.
FINISHED and can hang on tree or decorate a package!
